My day will be spent thinking about what more can be done for connection and community building to continue to bring healing not only for the youth but for anyone. I will make some phone calls to let some of my First Nation friends know I am thinking of them and their families, and at Sustainable Circular Economy, we will honour the children’s families and communities ripped apart by colonization, religious persecution, the residential school system, 60’s Sweep and other.

We will remember and honour those who did not return home. We also acknowledge the truth that Indigenous communities challenged by poor socioeconomic outcomes are a direct result of the intergenerational legacies that have and continue to affect them. Sustainable Circular Economy commits to Truth and Reconciliation by supporting Indigenous self-determination through practical support as dictated by the communities we work with.

All of which is respectfully submitted.
