Fun for the Kids and Family

Updated: Sep 11, 2022

Introduction

Across the globe, people are generating new ideas that have the power to revolutionize the way we do business, and to alter the very structure of production and consumption in our global society. But not today. From Sustainable Circular Economy, we bring things closer to home, hoping that Saturday is a day for you to relax and have fun with the family.

During the week at Sustainable Circular Economy, we maintain a serious focus on how to incorporate People, the Planet and sustainability into decisions about global warming and the environment.

Not today. Saturday is family day and we bring you some clever ideas that can be teaching moments, an enjoyable experience, and save money.

This Video Gives You All

There are many things we can do at home that can have a positive impact on the environment. What we do does not have to be big; people doing little things can add up to significant reductions in Greenhouse Gas emissions.

An added benefit is a cost saving. With families struggling with food insecurity due to spiraling costs, some of the examples on the video you can see by CLICKING HERE, can save you money while helping you and your family to reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions.

What could be better for a Saturday than taking on some fun projects, saving money and protecting the environment?

What Else Can You Do?

There are many fun projects you can do. Remember the hype of making sourdough bread during the pandemic? Literally 100’s of videos on YouTube to show you how.

But, too complicated for me. It may work for the “purists,” and that is fine, but it does not work for me. My family loves our home-made bread made with fast-rising yeast, and saving us more than $300 per year.

There is nothing better than the waft of fresh bread, with no chemical additives coming out of the oven. Oh, the taste with a slab of butter on warm bread.

Next week, I will post the recipe for my bread. It is super simple to make and your family will love you for it.

Conclusion

Day in and day out, people like you and me, are generating new ideas that have the power to revolutionize the way we do business, and to alter the very structure of production and consumption in our global society. The circular economy gives us the framework for innovation of ideas to take action to protect the environment and reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions.

Actions do not have to be large; the small one’s add up and the video you can see by CLICKING HERE, can save you money while helping you and your family to reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions.

The transition toward sustainability will not happen overnight. After all, it has taken us hundreds of years to get to where we are. Change is usually difficult. But there are things that we can do to make the transition toward sustainability easier and perhaps even enjoyable like taking on some of the fun projects and making your own bread.

And for Monday to Friday, no matter where you are on your sustainability journey, at Sustainable Circular Economy, we can help you assess how far you've come, which direction you should take and what your next steps should be.
